
Chardonnay Brie Fondue for Two
The holiday season may be far gone, but Valentine's Day is a great excuse to indulge. Our chardonnay fondue only takes 20 minutes. You can serve with grapes, bread, kale, roasted potatoes, apples .. or any of your favorite fruits and vegetables.
Ingredients
1 lb. Brie, remove rind
1/2 cup One Brick Chardonnay
1/4 cup water
2 Tbs. unsalted butter
1 Tbs. cornstarch
2 tsp. fresh thyme, chopped
1 shallot, diced
Kosher salt and ground pepper
Instructions
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium. Add the diced shallot and cook, stir occasionally for 4 minutes. Add your One Brick Chardonnay and water while you bring to a simmer. In a separate bowl, lightly toss the brie with the cornstarch to coat then mix into your saucepan until the cheese melts. Add your pepper, thyme, and salt. Add to taste. Enjoy with a glass of One Brick Chardonnay.
